Meeting OEM Requirements Through Effective PDM to PLM Migration at RO-RA

RO-RA implemented CAD data management as a first step toward a complete PLM system with 3DEXPERIENCE on Cloud and CATIA V5 integration to meet supply chain requirements and enable future integration with ERP, CRM, or MES platforms.

RO-RA Aviation Systems GmbH is a globally operating aviation supplier. Addressing the need for advanced product data management
RO-RA previously operated an outdated SmarTeam database for PDM (product data management). To meet the aerospace industry’s evolving needs and work with newer CATIA V5 releases, an upgrade was necessary. The objective was not only to replace the old system but to enhance collaboration, speed up project workflows, and advance digitalization to improve competitiveness.
