Why is CATIA losing file association?

The issue of CATIA losing file association can occur when users upgrade to a new release of CATIA. This can lead to icons displaying no image and other associated issues. To resolve this problem, users can follow these steps:

1. 1. Open cmd.exe
   2. Change directory in the CMD window by typing “CD /code/bin” (Typically CD C:Program FilesDassault SystemesB24win_b64codebin) and then press enter.
   3. In the next line type in “CNEXT.exe /regserver” and press enter.
