Electromagnetic Analysis with Abaqus
With this training course you will learn how to use the electromagnetic capabilities in Abaqus/Standard to perform low-frequency eddy current analyses, transient eddy current analyses, and magnetostatic analyses.
Duration:
1 day
Course objective:
Abaqus provides computational electromagnetic capabilities for the simulation of problems involving steady-state electrical conduction, piezoelectric phenomena and low-frequency eddy currents. In this course, you will learn how to analyse low frequency eddy current problems in Abaqus/Standard.
The course covers the following topics:
- Introduction to electromagnetic theory
- Workflow for defining low-frequency eddy current analyses
- Loads and boundary conditions required for eddy current analyses
- Postprocessing eddy current analyses
- Sequential coupling for thermal-stress analyses
Who should attend?
Recommended for engineers with experience using Abaqus/Standard. Some familiarity with the Abaqus keywords interface is helpful but not required.
What’s included on the course?
- An experienced, specialist trainer
- Dedicated training facilities
- Years of industry experience
- Personal attendance certificate
- On hand training co-ordinator
