Meriel Coughlin is a Design Engineer at TECHNIA with expertise in 3D modeling, simulation, and engineering project management. In the professional world she's a big fan of design and finite element simulation on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform; in the non-professional world she's an even bigger fan of computer games and weightlifting!
With a strong background in advanced CAD and CAE tools, she helps clients design, test, and optimize innovative products with efficiency and precision.
Her technical skillset spans multiple platforms, including CATIA V5/V6, Solid Edge, Blender, and SOLIDWORKS, with additional experience in finite element simulation using Ansys and familiarity with Abaqus and SIMULIA. Meriel has also extended her engineering capabilities into computational coding, applying her knowledge of C/C++ and MATLAB for tasks such as biomedical signal processing and model optimization.
In addition to her technical abilities, Meriel has two years of proven experience leading and contributing to collaborative engineering projects.
