Including Composite Draping in Abaqus Simulations

In this session we will be looking at the main features of the Composites Modeler plug-in in Abaqus CAE.

As well as containing a few really handy tools for the analysis of composite structures, such as the ability to easily create continuum element models with smooth drop-off transitions, this plug-in allows analysts to investigate the drapability of composite plies, both within CAE and by providing a link to design software that include their own composite producibility tools.
