Simulations of electromagnetic phenomena play an increasingly important role not only in the automotive industry, telecommunications, medicine or energy generation systems, but also in everyday life.
CST Studio Suite® is a best-in-class electromagnetic (EM) simulation software package used by many technology and engineering companies around the world. With solvers that can be applied to the entire frequency spectrum, CST Studio Suite offers a wide range of tools for designing, analyzing and optimizing EM products.
During the webinar the most important computational capabilities of the package are discussed. The example of a variable inductance choke system designed to work in power quality improvement systems is presented. It shows how easy it is to set up such a problem in the CST Studio Suite and then to solve it.
Speaker Information
Rafał M. Wojciechowski obtained a PhD degree in technical sciences at the Poznan University of Technology in 2010 and a postdoctoral degree in 2017 in the field of numerical modeling of electrical machines, devices and converters using the Finite Element Method. He has published over 80 papers, is a co-author of 3 international patents and 6 patent applications concerning electromagnetic devices and transducers.
