Applications Developer

Location:               Nieuwegein

You will be engaged in designing and implementing the architecture of the customer solution together with the application architect(s). Within this function you will work closely with the Consultants, the Functional Analyst and the offshore team. You can work for customers in the Netherlands or with one of our customers abroad within the TECHNIA family. The work initially will not require you to travel, since we often setup virtual teams to support international projects.

We expect you to develop and share your specialist knowledge of the products and methodologies of PLM implementations and work as an ambassador of TECHNIA’s solutions and products. We also expect you to be a positive, engaged and actively contributing team member.

Function requirements

A completed education Informatics, work and thinking at Bachelor level;
5+ years of working experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of development experience with Java applications;
5+ years of working experience with a minimum of 2 years in writing technical specifications;
Skills in using Java Development Tools (Eclipse) and Source Code Management Systems (GIT);
Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, jQuery, JSP, Ajax- and Web services;
Fluent Dutch and English speaking, reading, and writing;
Knowledge of .NET, VB .NET / C# is a plus;
Knowledge of and experience with Agile Software Development (Scrum) is a plus;
Knowledge of testing frameworks and proven track record on following them is a plus;
Experience in proficiently using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a plus;
Good social and communication skills;
Team player;
Able to work independently;
