How to Create and Deploy a User Rep in CATIA V5 Manufacturing

This webinar will show how to create and deploy a ‘User Rep’ in CATIA V5 Manufacturing. A CATProduct is first created containing 2 or 3 CATParts. These parts must only contain revolved (shaft or groove) modelling features.

This methodology will allow users to simulate and verify NC processes which are created using shapes of cutter not normally available in CATIA. It should be noted that the tool path (and G code) is created from the standard cutter form that was used. The user rep is only for simulation.
