What does the Dimension Leader function do in CATIA?

The Dimension Leader function in CATIA allows users to manipulate leaders in 2D Drafting after creating dimensions.

When a dimension is selected, white squares appear at the leader ends, which can be dragged by clicking and holding the left mouse button. When moving them, dragging one square causes the opposite square of the dimension to follow. By holding the Ctrl key, you can manipulate these squares independently of each other.
