Yes, you can save a CATIA V5 drawing as a PDF by following these steps:

  • Go to file > save as.
  • In the save as type dropdown, select PDF.
  • Enter the desired file name and location, then click save.
  • The resulting PDF will match the paper size and format of the CATIA drawing.

To save multiple sheets into a single PDF:

  • Go to tools > options in CATIA.
  • Navigate to general > compatibility > graphics formats.
  • Enable the option save multisheet document in a single vectorial file and select PDF as the output format.
  • Click OK to apply changes.
  • Use the standard file > save as process and select PDF as the file type.
  • This method consolidates all sheets into one PDF file.

You can use the print function (shortcut: Ctrl + P) to customize settings such as:

  • Paper size (e.g., A0, A1, A2, etc.)
  • Orientation (portrait or landscape)
  • Scale and print quality (up to 4000 DPI)
  • If you don’t have a physical printer, install a virtual printer to generate PDFs with these customizations.
