Customising CATIA V5: Setting Favourite Workbenches

To define a workbench as a favourite is as follows:

1. Go to Tools > Customise

2. After the ‘Customise’ dialogue box opens, go to the ‘Start Menu’ tab. Select the workbenches that you would like to define as favourites from the ‘Available’ list (column on the left hand side)

3. Once you have selected the workbenches that you would like to define as favourites, select the ‘Right Arrow Key’ to send the workbenches to the favourites list. The workbenches have now been defined as favourites and the ‘customise’ dialogue box can be closed.

4. The favourites can now be accessed more conveniently as they are placed at the beginning of the ‘Start’ drop down menu and are available via the icon of the active workbench.
