September is the time of the year when the best climate and festivity come together at India’s most livable city (according to the Ease of Living Index report released by Union housing and urban affairs ministry of India). During this time of the year, Pune witnesses the best climate because it’s when Monsoon ends its spell and turn the greenery ON. The local people are also in a celebratory mood because of the festivals lined up one after another. Mark Morrenhof , Technical Solution Architect at TECHNIA Benelux,  and Patrick Kaneman, Team Lead & Functional Consultant at TECHNIA Benelux, chose exactly the same time to meet their offshore team working from India’s IT hub.

Employees at Office Pune

Their stay here in the city known as Oxford of the East was for two weeks. They mostly spent their first week engaging in some team activities and bonding with the team.

Workshop at Pune

The trip was a great success, and TECHNIA are really proud of the team that they have become! During the off hours, there was still plenty to do and the team was even treated with some incredibly scenic views which were both memorable and breathtaking. One of their favorite memories will be the 8-hour trek they completed as a group of 19 to one of the forts in Pune.

As the monsoon season is coming to an end, this means that the landscape is filled with rich, deep green colors. The higher they got, the more beautiful the view became. While a lot of pictures were taken (and those pictures look great) they still don’t do justice to how it looks in real life.
