Technia delivers PLM solution to the electric power producer OKGTechnia, a world-class supplier of PLM solutions (Product Lifecycle Management), has signed an extended agreement valued at more than SEK 14 M with their existing customer OKG. The agreement extends over 2010 and comprises the delivery of an ENOVIA PLM Solution from Dassault Systèmes, with corresponding services and maintenance agreement. The agreement pertains to an extension of OKG’s existing PLM solution that Technia implemented in 2008. The new implementation will replace five of OKG’s legacy systems. With this order Technia continues to show its PLM leadership in the Energy& Process industry.

Full house at Technia PLM Innovation Forum 2009Despite the turmoil in world economy Technia’s PLM Innovation Forum attracted about 300 participants and 25 percent more customers than last year, to share and gain knowledge of PLM. The theme of this year’s event was “Gaining market share with PLM in tough times”. Technia sees it as an indication of the importance in Product Lifecycle Management investments in these tough times. Improved operational efficiency has never been as important as in 2009 and 2010, as well as the ability to reduce time to market and meet or exceed customer expectations of quality and functionality. This becomes even more important in a chaotic world; meeting specified requirements in deliveries to fulfill delivery acceptance enables a better cash flow. And PLM is a key to reach these goals.

At the same time, Integware has committed to provide Technia with a strategic support for selling Dassault Systèmes' ENOVIA Life Science Accelerator (LSA) in Europe and Middle East.
