Valmet Corporation invests in eMatrix, an Internet based collaborative eBusiness Solution from Technia AB

Helsinki, May 2000 - Technia, a leading supplier of Internet based collaboration solutions within the Nordic countries, today announced that Valmet Corporation, a member of Metso Corporation, has awarded Technia a multimillion dollar contract for a Internet enabled Product Information Backbone based upon the product eMatrix.

This initiative will support the entire Valmet Corporation along with their partners and suppliers. The deployment will cover more than 6000 users World-wide.

Ability to support Customer Service operations on a global basis.
A platform that will allow better collaboration and business process support in Customer Deliveries with Partners through Internet and Intra/Extranet.
