Dassault Systèmes to incorporate Technia Report Generator technology in to the ENOVIA V6 product portfolio

Stockholm, Sweden - Technia and Dassault Systèmes (DS) have signed an agreement allowing DS to incorporate the Technia Report Generator technology in to the ENOVIA V6 product portfolio as a Dassault Systèmes product. The new ENOVIA Report Generator is available starting with V6R2010 from DS and its resellers. This agreement strengthens the existing partnership between Technia and Dassault Systèmes.

ENOVIA V6 Report Generator allows users to better understand data trends and summarizes product information into formatted reports, collateral and specifications. Product and program managers can quickly summarize trends with new product programs and changes in existing products. Reports can be created quickly and can include pie, bar, and area charts. Standard output formats include PDF, PostScript, Text, XML and HTML.

Leveraging its 40+ PLM implementations, Technia identified common requirements from PLM customers and developed the Report Generator technology to componentize and streamline its implementations. The ENOVIA Report Generator functionality reduces the time and cost required to implement high quality reports and leads to faster and lower risk implementations, while being completely integrated into the ENOVIA V6 environment.

ENOVIA is the cornerstone of Dassault Systèmes’ V6 portfolio and the common collaboration platform for all DS brands, together addressing the entire product lifecycle.

“Dassault Systèmes is very pleased to be able to offer the ENOVIA Report Generator as part of the ENOVIA V6 suite. The ENOVIA Report Generator allows our customers to reduce the time and cost required to deploy high quality reports, by delivering this functionality as an out-of-the-box application.“ says John Squire, Vice President, Worldwide Marketing, DS ENOVIA.

”ENOVIA Report Generator can make a major difference in user acceptance and end-user efficiency for an ENOVIA V6 PLM system. Dassault Systèmes has decided to integrate the Report Generator into the ENOVIA V6 Portfolio as an out of the box product. Technia will continue to invest in refining our technology and releasing new innovations to improve usability and functionality”, says Jan Thunqvist, Director Products & Technology, Technia.
