For quite some time now, Technia has been very successful. Of course, there are several reasons for this. One important factor is that we have strong credibility in the market due to the fact that we have delivered successful projects. Another is the fact that we work with the leading supplier, Dassault Systemès, and have the right resources to deliver complete solutions. We operate a stable business which continues to attract new customers from non-traditional segments and existing Technia customers continues to invest, widen and expand their PLM solutions.
Over the years Technia has also been very successful in broadening its range of customers and in opening up to new segments such as apparel, sports and construction - with customers such as Skanska and PEAB. This recognition of the benefits of PLM is continuously growing and is now spreading to the rest of Nordic countries. For example, as in the Swedish market, we have noticed an interest in Denmark from segments such as apparel and food/beverage.
One current example of Technia’s advancements in Denmark is the recently signed agreement with William Demant Holding, the mother company of Oticon A/S in Denmark, for delivery of a PLM solution based on ENOVIA MatrixOne from Dassault Systèmes. Oticon is a leading manufacturer of hearing care solutions, and is therefore an excellent reference case for Technia. Oticon's vision is "to enable people to live the life they want with the hearing they have". The company aims to supply the most sophisticated audio technology based on the needs and wishes of the hearing impaired and to offer a full range of the best hearing aids and fitting systems on the market.
The Danish PLM-market has clearly matured which has lead to several interesting projects in the pipeline in Denmark and subsequently, Technia is expanding its office in Malmö. The agreement is also proof that Technia has an excellent product and service portfolio to meet the demands from the rest of the Nordic countries, outside of Sweden. In summary, PLM is going mainstream, much due to the evolving PLM market, an increasing demand from new segments, and the recognition of PLM as a major business solution for Enterprise and SME companies. In the light of this evolution I am confident that our success will continue.
