The Application Developer has a key role in Technia's implementation projects of PLM-solutions.
The Application Developer assists the Technical Leader and the Project Manager, and has own areas of responsibility in the implementation project. This Application Developer continuously cooperates with the customer, ensuring that the delivered functional solutions are within the scope of the project definition and meets the customer expectations.
Configuration and programming are important and dominant tasks but mapping customer needs into system architecture solutions is also an important element in this job.
We believe that the applicant has experience from three to five years of software development and/or IT systems integration in a consulting role. Knowledge of object-oriented development of web-based solutions, where Java, JSP, XML and XSLT have been the primary technologies is preferred.
Experience of PLM or ERP systems integration is a benefit as well as experience and interest in customer training.
Degree at University level in Computer Science or equivalent.
Genuine interest in continuously developing the specialist technical knowledge of the products and methodology's of the PLM implementations, and the ability to synthesize and create complex technical solutions are required for the delivery of high quality systems.
Excellent presentation and communication skills are required for creating good customer relationships and for effective internal teamwork. Ability to take a leadership position, be a driving force, and a goal-oriented personality are required to be able to deliver solutions with right focus and on time.
The application development work requires social skills. It is often required to manage customer relationships in projects and support of colleagues. The Application Developer will present and demonstrate parts of the customized system to the customer during the workshops.
The Application Developer must have a good feeling for responsibility, accuracy and ability to work independently as well as a good understanding of the consulting life-cycle, be a team player and take actions to ensure customer satisfaction on his/her own initiative.
