AddNode is in the process of forming a new Nordic IT group with focus on selected industries and technologies. Technia will form the new business area "Industrial" and together with AddNode Technia will build a stronger platform for the future. The merger will enable Technia to continue the development and growth both in products and service offerings, and in new geographical markets.
"This is a logical step forward for Technia. I strongly believe that the merger will help us generate new business, which in turn means a stronger Technia," says Staffan Hanstorp, CEO and President, Technia AB.
Through AddNode Technia will also get access to a broad network and knowledge within the company group and owner community. Being a part of a public company Technia will be more visible in the market place and it will be easier to create interest for the success of Technia in different areas.
Staffan Hanstorp continues, "Our vision and business will stay as it is. Technia will be managed with the same group of people, the same employees, with the same name and in the existing legal entities. With other words, it's business as usual. But stronger and better built for the future."
