MatrixOne, Inc. (NASDAQ: MONE), a leading provider of collaborative product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions for the value chain, today announced that MatrixOne and their Sweden based partner Technia, have signed a major software and service agreement with the leading telecom supplier Ericsson to deploy MatrixOne´s PLM software as its global platform for managing development projects. This investment in MatrixOne solutions represents a major expansion on an earlier deployment, with the new systems to be implemented within the customer's organization. MatrixOne with partners (mainly Technia) assists in the global deployment and implementation of the new MatrixOne PLM system within the customer's R&D units.
In order to track project changes status in a global development organization, and improve the projects' quality and time to market, a common integrated project support system is needed. MatrixOne will provide the customer's R&D units with collaborative tools for uniform management of global product development projects including requirements management, product change management, overall project management, testing, functional anatomy management, and report and document management.
