Using Sourcing

Using Sourcing Central teaches you how to use the Matrix One business application developed for managing the sourcing and procurement process.

Course Topics
At the end of this course, you will be able to:

Add suppliers and their representatives
Create and manage buyer desks
Create Requests for Quotes (RFQ's)
Add line items to (RFQ's)
Submit RFQ's to suppliers
Respond to an RFQ by submitting a quotation
Review quotations and award the bid
Create RFQ packages and templates

Audience
The audience for the using Sourcing Central course is:

Purchasing and Engineering department personnel who are responsible for procuring manufactured and raw material goods from suppliers. Some examples include: buyers, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and business administrators.
Supplier representatives associated with the buying organization as either a partner or vendor relationship. Some examples include: suppliers, supplier representatives, and supplier engineers.
Business Administration and System Administration personnel who will be responsible for maintaining the Supplier Central application.
