At the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Identify the three Supplier Central applications and explain when they are used
• Set up supplier profiles with supplier organization information
• Manage parts and suppliers assigned to a buyer desk
• Create bid requests and submit them to suppliers
• Respond to a bid request
• Review responses to the bid request and award the bid
  

Audience
The audience for the using Supplier Central course is:

• Purchasing and Engineering department personnel who are responsible for procuring manufactured and raw material goods from suppliers.  Some examples include: buyers, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and business administrators.
• Supplier representatives associated with the buying organization as either a partner or vendor relationship.  Some examples include: suppliers, supplier representatives, and supplier engineers.
• Business Administration and System Administration personnel who will be responsible for maintaining the Supplier Central application.
