Technia enters partnership with Columbia Sportswear
October 14, 2010 | Technia press release
Technia, the leading global supplier of software solutions for Product Lifecycle Management (“PLM”), recently entered an agreement with Columbia Sportswear to implement the Technia Value Components (“TVCs”) as a framework for enhancing their existing ENOVIA PLM systems. With this agreement, Technia continues to expand its leadership in Product Lifecycle Management for the Footwear and Apparel industry.
Over the years, Technia identified the fact that many organizations request similar changes to their PLM solutions and developed the TVC's to address these common needs and further streamline its implementations. The TVC's not only close the gap between requested functionality and out-of-the-box functionality, but also reduce the time and cost required to investigate the impact of each change, which eventually leads to faster and lower risk implementations.
“We are very proud of this partnership with Columbia Sportswear,” says Rade Zrilic, CEO of Technia Americas. “Columbia Sportswear was a pioneer in leading one of the first global PLM deployments for both footwear and apparel products and we are very happy to work with such a distinguished company. We feel confident that our customers benefit substantially by utilizing our TVC solutions, mainly in areas of user acceptance, performance and extended configurability that further reduces the cost-of-ownership,” Rade Zrilic concludes.
